Fight for Fight or Fight for Peace

Why fight for peace when you can be peace?  What I don't get is people are trying to bring peace into the world but they keep fighting each other.  So much for peace.  Fighting and more fighting cause more fighting and is far beyond peace.  Sometimes fighting can bring an end to most fighting, but fights do not always settle a war.  How can we bring peace without fighting?  Is that even possible.  It seems that fighting will always be the action that people will take to settle disputes and wars.  What are the other options, not fighting, talking it out, or fight.  But fight for what?  When countries go to war, there are constant battles going everywhere.  Not only at the main battle field but also on their home grounds, right  on their front lawns.  Battle after battle, people dying, prisoners, and people suffering.  When does it all end?  How does a war die down and bring peace?  Was the war even necessary?  I just wish, that we could all stop fighting and live in a world full of peace, but that's just my own fantasy.  It will never happen, not until Christ returns.  It breaks my heart to see other suffer.  I sometimes cause others to suffer because I am mean to them.  I am not always mean, but I am human, a born sinner.  People say they want peace.  Well, go and be it.  Show what peace is.  But it depends on the person's definition of peace.  My definiton of peace is there is no more fighting, everyone helps each other out, try not to call each other names, no more bullying, and no more war among other countries and among ourselves.

Remeber this: A simple act of kindness or love can start a ripple of a tidal wave.
